Vineyard Wedding Centerpieces
Vineyard Wedding Centerpieces – We’re sure the words chic and Sonoma go hand in hand, and this classic vineyard wedding is the true embodiment of both—effortless, fresh, and breezy. We love that Deme and Mike chose a white and green color palette for an organic, natural look that pairs beautifully with the charming look of the exposed beams and chandeliers inside. If you’re toying with the idea of a summer vineyard wedding, get ready to bookmark some muddy ideas! To start;
Deme and Mike met 11 years ago (yes, 11!) in high school English class, shortly after Mike moved from his hometown of Toronto to the San Francisco Bay Area. Although they are now city dwellers, they have always enjoyed relaxing weekend getaways to Sonoma and Yountville, and it was there that Mike decided to propose under a beautiful oak tree among rows of vines.

The couple dreamed of a romantic wine wedding and Tyge William Cellars in Sonoma instantly stole their hearts. The modern whitewashed barn and stunning vineyard backdrop made it the perfect canvas to decorate with soft shades of gray and ivory, hints of gold and dreamy garden flowers to complement the scenery.
White Wedding Centerpieces
After the outdoor ceremony (with Deme’s 9-month-old niece as their flower girl), they celebrated their reception with family and friends in the elegant, chandelier-lit barn, enjoyed a formal dinner, and then danced the night away. Their wedding day was everything they dreamed it would be and more.
Tyge’s motto is “live the adventure” and Deme and Mike truly feel like they’re having the biggest adventure of their lives every day they spend together. Choosing the perfect wedding centerpiece can be a lot of work! Most people go the traditional route of using flowers or candles, but that doesn’t mean you can’t come up with a more creative option to decorate your wedding reception table – or rehearsal dinner and bridal shower!
Rustic Wedding Centerpieces To Inspire Your Design
Our favorite? The central bottle of wine! When used as wedding decorations, glass bottles can add an elevated yet rustic feel to any table. They can be adapted to any wedding style, whether you spray paint them for a glamorous touch or add a personalized logo with your and your partner’s initials. Not to mention: This creative idea offers a way to save money on floral arrangements – hello, DIY project! – by requiring fewer, more expensive blooms. Plus, who doesn’t love wine?!
If you’re tempted by the idea of using wine bottle centerpieces but aren’t sure where to start, here are 14 creative ideas for the budget trend.
Using wine bottles as centerpieces doesn’t mean you can’t include other eye-catching details. Take this wedding as proof that putting very long flower stems in bottles can make an extra statement. This idea is especially impressive when you combine vibrant flowers with a clean base, as seen here.
Obsessed with gold or metallic shades? Get inspired by this real wedding. Spray painting wine bottles to match your color scheme creates a cohesive look and adds a touch of modern glamor to your furnished landscape. If your space allows for an open flame, place tall candlesticks in the bottle openings for an extra romantic touch.
Creative Ideas For A Vineyard Wedding Theme
There is something about the simplicity of a long table piled high with bottles of wine that is always romantic and intimate. Bring that feeling to your wedding by placing bottles of your choice on each table. Your guests will appreciate both the ambiance and the convenience of having bottles of wine nearby.
If you want to use wine bottles to create something that serves as a focal floral display, consider incorporating them into your seating table. While not technically on the reception table, this idea—shown here using a ladder as a base—is sure to be the focal point of any reception.
Swap the clear bottles for colored glass, such as bright green or deep burgundy, to add a contrasting color to the table. This photo is proof that adding neutral flowers or pampas grass to bottles is a great way to add texture as well. Also, check out this creative runner made from real fruit!
Place handfuls of your favorite flowers in different wine bottles – feel free to experiment with colors and shapes! – to add a romantic, whimsical feel to your reception. This look goes especially well with wildflowers.

Struggling to find a way to display table numbers that don’t look good to you? Try writing them directly on wine bottles! The bottles go easily with most decors and the project is also an easy and affordable DIY project.
Adding some lovely sparkling water bottles can be a way to create detail and texture in the center of the table. Not to mention: It can take some of the table service out of the way and keep your guests hydrated throughout the night.
Take details to the next level by adding personalized labels to the wine served at your reception. Instead of looking messy or out of place, bottles will look beautiful, purposeful and part of your wedding look when placed on the table. Plus, they would make a great wedding keepsake after the finale!
Incorporate pops of soft color by choosing bottles in pastel shades. Balance the brighter hues by adding greenery to the bottles or add bright floral details to complement the pastel colors.

Not excited about flowers or candles? Take some inspiration from this wedding and pair bottles of wine with pampas for a warm, bohemian aesthetic. Tall grasses add even more height to the display.
Combine personalized labels, flowers and organization by displaying guests’ seating or tables on wine bottle labels. We suggest filling the bottles with flower stems or plain greenery for added visual interest.
Pair glass bottles with simple greenery to create a woodland feel to any table. Place each centerpiece on a piece of wood for an even warmer, more rustic feel.
If you’re looking for a more cohesive vibe, consider matching the color of the wine bottles to your wedding colors and using them for all of your basics – table numbers, flowers, and more.
