Deep Purple Wedding Flowers – Vineet approached me a few months back for a wedding in May 2019. We had a lot of time to work on ideas, but he was excited to figure it out and check it off the list. So even though I’m writing this in November, her silk wedding flowers have been out for about a week — Christmas is coming early to Wynette!
As you may or may not know, purple is one of the most difficult colors to work with. It can be limited to pink, or red, or blue. So one of my techniques is to use different colors for a fun and non-clash look.

Wynette knew she wanted to include orchids, specifically dendrobiums, so I hunted until I found the perfect flowers. Then I made some suggestions for adding other orchids, calla lilies, anemones, sweet peas, and another type of lily. Vinetta loves her flowers and so do I!

Instead of keeping Vignette’s flowers simple and featuring boutonnieres and corsages, she kept her core girls: the bridesmaids and flower girls. You can see her flower girls bouquet and pom poms below. We kept the same color scheme but changed some of the flowers.

I got so many compliments on the bouquet and everyone thought it was real! I bought it to match my bridesmaids bouquets and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. We added a handmade musical note in the middle to match our theme and added little beads to make it perfect for our wedding. I would definitely buy again.

Sola flowers are made from a swamp plant native to Asia – the best comparison is balsa wood. These are not solid wood products – they are very light, moldable when wet (but still splatter when wet!), and beautiful. Each flower is handcrafted, so each one is a unique work of art! Similarly, each flower is slightly different in appearance – some trees may have dots on the bark (unless it’s bark flowers!), and some may be different shapes.
Yes. I take great care in storing and shipping your flowers so they are safe and beautiful. Natural colored flowers give more and are less fragile. Typically, the darker the color, the more fragile the flower may be. The color changes the design a bit. However, they are more powerful than you think!
