Did You Send An Invitation To Mickey Minnie Mouse Did They Actually Respond – Levi turned 3 last week! He had a great birthday, but he especially enjoyed his Mickey Mouse birthday party. I really enjoyed planning for it. The first thing I did to prepare for the party was to make these Mickey Mouse invitations. He loved it and every time I worked on it he would say, “Mickey Mouse! My birthday is coming up!” He was so excited! I loved it.
1. Google Mickey main template and choose the one you like. I used this Copy and paste it into a Word document and make it the size you want, then print it. (If you print it on white cardstock, it will make it easier to trace.) Cut it out, then trace it onto the black cardstock and cut it out. Continue until you have as many as you want.

2. Type your text using Word, format it as you wish, and print it on white cardstock. I then inserted shapes and added a circle, made it the size I wanted and wrote the words inside the circle to help me keep the words in the circle nicely. I agree on page 2. Once printed, cut out the circles and use a glue stick to attach them to the black Mickey head.
3. Make a semi-circle slightly higher than the base of Mickey’s head to make the pocket for the invitations (Mickey shorts). If you are a good freehand you can track it, if you are like me and not a good freehand you can find something round like a cereal bowl and use it to help you track it. Next, cut it out and use that piece to find the rest. 2 are required per invite. And I was able to trace 3 to one page.
4. After all your red half circles have been cut, glue the outside with this photo glue, put another half circle on top and let it dry. Continue with each half circle until it is finished.
5. To make the button I used the scraps from the white card stock I used for the invitations. Using my 1 inch round cutter and this other cutter to create slits. If you don’t have a circle cutter, you can trace circles or print circles and cut them out. And you can use a thin black marker to create buttonholes or slits.

6. Glue the paper circles to the red pockets. If you want to use real buttons, use white ones and use glue dots to attach them to the pockets.
If you want to do a little mouse party, the same is true with a few changes. My cousin made this fun invitation for her little girl’s Minnie Mouse birthday party.
She used red paper on the bottom and stuck on the white dots. She made the bows using polka dot ribbon. Isn’t it cute!?
