– with the other, of course, after becoming newlyweds. Therefore, it is necessary to think about the decoration of wedding corridors.
Just because he wants to do something with her doesn’t mean he has to be a spendthrift. In fact, when we are looking for real weddings
, we found ourselves particularly drawn to simple settings. Tay Wall of design firm Bixby + Pine says their approach is to wait when it’s big or simple. “If it’s not important to you or it’s not in your budget, that’s fine. But if you have a little extra to spend or want to get out of it for a moment, go for it,” she says.
Wedding aisle decoration is really up to you. And if you’re at a loss for what to do—there are too many decisions to make—we’ve got some ideas.

Since they had a circular altar, the couple kept the path lined with greenery and a simple lantern. A simple trick that Bixby + Nine loves is to add some design elements to the soil. “It’s mostly candles, but it can also be a few small arrangements along the paths or rows of greenery,” Wall says.
This historic church is also amazing. Heflin Cordero advises keeping in mind the natural state of the structure or location: “I like to make a statement in a hallway, but I want it to ‘fit in,'” she explains. “Does it enhance the venue or detract from its natural beauty?” In this case, a light garland of scattered white flowers and scattered leaves will suffice.
Bixby + Nine lined the occasion with a unique seating choice: hay bales. They spread rugs along the aisle to add an eclectic feel to the wedding plan. Aisle decorations are restrained, drawing attention to the beautiful floral arrangements that form the wedding arch.

Green arrangements mark the start of the Bourlap & Bordeaux Corridor across a dreamy lake. “Loose plants, white flowers and grasses by the lake create a modern, eclectic boho feel,” says Heflin Cordero.
Lay out a design element on the ground with greenery or candles and place small arrangements in several rows. It can simplify the decoration of a minimalist ceremony and complement the dramatic setting.
Across the aisle, this Arizona couple showed off the entrance — white delphiniums, red roses and candles in gold wedding lights. “Wear the front of the aisle to make a statement: it helps give your guests a bit of a edgy factor when they’re seated,” says Wall.
In case you haven’t heard, cacti are all the rage right now — especially if you’re having a wedding in the Southwest. Wall says she likes to keep it simple with just two floral (or in this case, cactus) pieces. “Start with fun things related to the ceremony to add interest and a little oomph.”

Lined with leaves? Try both. This Burlap & Bordeaux design is all about luxury. Heflin Cordero used a high-gloss white floor runner with white flower petals on the sides to soften the look and add a romantic touch. To top it all off, she placed flowers in glass vases at different heights at the entrance to the hallway.
Bixby + Nine added pops of color to make the ceremony simple yet stunning. “Lineing the hallway with bright leaves has been fun so far because we’ve been using such a beautiful and bold color palette,” says Wall. “It really brought the ceremony space to life!”
Burlap & Bordeaux have planted a few flowers and placed new flowers on the roadside. The design features “romantic flowers with sandstone petals to create a romantic and elegant corridor,” says Heflin Cordero. She added soft pinks and purples to the white flowers for a more dreamy feel.
This design by Bixby + Nine features glass vases of white, red and pink flowers lining the aisle of the ceremony. Glass elements work especially well for indoor ceremonies: the main light source is reflected the brightest. Vases make it easy to transport to your post-wedding reception and serve as party favors for guests.
Diy Wedding Ideas Anyone Can Handle
An aisle with zero decorations can be really beautiful, especially with high chairs and a chuppah filled with flowers. While the space is particularly impressive, Wall says Bixby + Nine likes to speak for itself and go without decor. “It could be in a forest, on a cliff or in a superhero location where you don’t need to create a background,” he says. “You don’t need anything when nature beats you with its wildness.”
After paving the road itself, Bixby + Pine focused on making a statement with seating at the ceremony. “Thinking a little outside the box when thinking about decorating the hallway, Credit Connor used mismatched furniture to give the hallway (and seating) a lively twist,” says Wall. Velvet details on the seats added pops of color and a cool vintage feel.
If you have an environment that speaks for you (such as palm trees, flowers), then it is wise to keep your wedding aisle decorations simple. That’s why this corridor lined with white rose petals looks especially appropriate. We also love the white link with the seat cushions.
Designer bride Lucilla Bonaccorsi unexpectedly found inspiration for her runway – the Infiorata festival in Noto, Italy, where the streets look like elegant paintings. Together with his mother, Luisa Beccaria, he created this scene with pastel carnivals and a ceremony on the chapel floor.

The walkway is illuminated to add grandeur to the ceremony. This Tennessee wedding featured rustic centerpieces at the end of the aisle, and small bouquets were left behind the white ceremony chairs. Minimal hallway decor draws the eye to the flower-adorned arch.
This corridor (in an enchanted forest) is lined with ferns and surrounded by white flowers. This northern wedding featured a semi-circular altar of white delphiniums, larkspurs, snapdragons and wild ferns.

As you walk down the cement hallway, you want to warm it up. These candles, greenery and single flowers will do the trick. If budget is an issue, another option is to install the installation at the beginning. “I have a special place in my heart for flower and/or candle holders,” says Heflin Cordero. “Not only do they make great photos when placed at the foot of the aisle, but they’re the first thing guests see, so you get that instant factor without having to decorate the entire aisle.”
Add height to your hallway decor. At this Capri wedding, the bride did her own ceremony, with trees decorated with flowers and a carpet path.
Here, transparent armchairs are allowed to be the star of the show (ah, we’re a party). Throwing some flowers in the aisle is probably the easiest and most economical way to decorate the wedding aisle.
Candles are a favorite among wedding planners. Amp up the sparkle with hanging chandeliers above. So the lighting will be perfect.

Bixby + Nine likes to decorate the head of the hallway with eye-catching floral arrangements. “The simple idea of lining the path with a couple of cheerful floral pieces coordinated with the formal planting is one of our favorites,” says Wall, “but it’s the combination of pampas, flowers and fall foliage that really gets us.” happy “these are..”
Mark the location of the ceremony with flags. They look modern and cool when paired with fresh greenery and white flowers. The rocking chairs don’t detract from the beautiful, ocean view.
