Love your home; see more of this wedding inspiration here! From the beginning, Leslie and Omar wanted a wedding that reflected their traditions and families, their love and their personalities. Although their wedding took place at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (luxurious and
)and their extensive guest list, they wanted an intimate day filled with family, friends, warmth and love. They accomplished this by writing their own vows and infusing their beliefs and traditions into the ceremony, which was officiated by Imam Handy, chaplain at Georgetown University. In lieu of donations, donations were made in honor of deceased loved ones. The food perfectly reflected their personal tastes and at the dessert table they shared cakes and desserts that reflected their Italian and Middle Eastern cultures. Leslie and Omar spent the evening dancing in each other’s arms, surrounded by family and friends. What a beautiful day to celebrate family and love!

These two honeymooned at Disney World, and it’s only fitting that their day was a fairytale. This July wedding was blessed with some cloud cover and a rain-free summer day. Christiana’s dress was adorable with lace detailing. She bought her dress from the same bridal shop her mother bought her veil from 26 years ago! It’s these personal touches that make a wedding so sweet. Christiana’s bouquet also contained her great-grandmother’s butterfly pin. You will see this golden heirloom in some wedding photos!
Dusty Blue Floral Wedding Inspiration
I loved the shades of coral and blue on their wedding day. Wait until you see their wedding cake – truly beautiful with pink and coral flowers tastefully arranged in different tiers.
Their first look was magical and set a magical tone for the rest of the evening. Of course, as a photographer, one of my favorite things about the Market in Grelen is the different places for portraits. After the family festivities, J & C took some portraits in the crescent garden before enjoying cocktail hour and then we were off for 10 minutes before sunset. We wandered through the orchard, and these bright portraits are straight out of a fairy tale!
I am obsessed with capturing meaningful opinions. This is one of my favorites of the day. Christiana sees herself as a bride for the first time!
