The item is advertised as a “votive” candle with a burn time of 10 hours. I received a bunch of boxes labeled “tea” candles with an 8 hour burn time. I contacted the seller to request a refund, but was told that the words “tealight and votive” are interchangeable and that this candle is definitely a votive. Regarding the 8 hour burn time, I was told that depending on atmospheric conditions, the candle may burn faster or slower. Finally, the seller informed me that I would have to pay a restocking fee plus any shipping fees to return the order. How hurried I am in business! I told the seller that this is the first and last time I do business at !!!

Candles also burn for 8 to 10 hours depending on the conditions in which they are burned. That is, a higher temperature will mean a faster burn time (you can do a quick Google search to see this information as well).
