Yes, I have liability and errors and omissions insurance and am a member of the Professional Photographers of America. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, you must contact me at least thirty days before your wedding date. If your facility requires more than $1 million in liability insurance, you may be responsible for more than $1 million in purchase costs. We also cover workers compensation for our employees and can provide certification if your position requires it – let us know!
Our selection includes professional Canon cameras and lenses, a variety of professional prime and zoom lenses, and Canon flash kits. We also provide additional equipment to ensure the safety of your wedding photos.

Every now and then I get emails from people who are new to photography and want to know what I would recommend. As basic equipment for beginners, I recommend a Canon Rebel series camera, a 50mm 1.8 lens and Bryan Peterson’s Understanding Exposure book.

I shot my first wedding as a solo photographer in December 2009. Before that I worked as a Photographer’s assistant, starting by carrying bags and learning photography gradually, 2004-2009. I have photographed over two hundred and ninety five weddings as the main photographer from 2009 until today. I am both self-taught and taught through an apprenticeship/mentorship model and participate in photography conferences and workshops.

See the pricing page on the left for more information and details; I like to keep things simple with one collection and add-ons of your choice. Basic cover includes full wedding day photos (as specified by the photographer), free assistant/open photographer, USB and reprint – everything that ‘ most engaged couples want. From there you can choose whether you want to add a chat session or a menu – lots of options, but the choice is yours!

Yes, you will receive one USB drive of your wedding with a high-resolution, watermark-free image, edited as JPG files, suitable for making at least 16×24” prints or sharing online.
15. Have the photos been edited or retouched? Are blemishes and drop marks etc. removed from all photos?
The photos you receive on the USB drive will be edited for color, crop and transparency, and some photos will be converted to black and white at my discretion and that of my editor. Manual treatments, such as bias removal, are available on large prints or albums when ordered through Kristen Wynn Photography. Our editor Amy does an amazing job for our clients! If you ever want more retouching, let us know and we can give you a quote.

Certainly, we can meet favorably here in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for pre-registration. Pre-booking appointments are usually held Monday through Thursday, depending on my shooting schedule. If you are planning long distance, we can “meet” on Facetime/Skype or on the phone. After booking, the collection includes unlimited phone or email advice, and we can also meet if you choose a contact service as well. We also usually hold a final timeline meeting a month before the wedding, either on site or over the phone. So we “see” a lot of each other and get to know each other well!
