Lilac Weddings
Christy and Tim chose pale pinks and neutrals for their wedding day at The English Manor. The couple decided to have their wedding at The English Manor because they loved the lush gardens and the luxurious ‘mansion’ they got from the place. They incorporated pastels and neutrals like purple, lavender and silver into their wedding details. The lavender complimented Tim and the groom’s black tuxedos from Men’s Warehouse and contrasted well with Christy’s elegant wedding dress from Sales Unlimited. During the wedding reception, Christie dressed her daughters in bright lavender silk dresses, and each bridesmaid carried a drinking glass with a lavender rose attached to a straw. HOW CUTE! Tim was in solid black and white for his harnesses. The contrast between the pastels and the black was divine.

Christy met Tim at his cousin’s liquor store where he worked as a beer clerk. Ten years later, with a beautiful daughter… Tim proposed to Christy.
“When I woke up and went into the kitchen, there was a rose and a ring on the table and she was standing there with her 10-month-old daughter!”
The love these two have for each other is endless and absolutely beautiful. We love love! Speaking of love…we LOVE Christy’s bouquet. The ivory and green bouquet was BEAUTIFUL by Flowers by Vanbrunt. The white tulips mixed with other white flowers and green plants looked amazing. The contrast between the light lavender and the green was so beautiful and so much fun to photograph.
With so many colors to choose from, it can be hard to narrow it down to your favorite color. When combined, certain colors will appear and complement each other perfectly. When choosing a color, remember to consider how sunlight and the environment can affect how the color looks.

So you want to look bolder and more energetic? Lavender and purple can be energizing too! Shayna and Shane chose deep, bold colors for their wedding day at The English Manor. The details of their wedding were sprinkled with shades of purple throughout. They added purple everywhere! Shaina chose to wear a lavender floor length gown for her bridesmaids. Shane dressed his groomsmen in gray Sarno tuxedos and the girls wore lavender bow ties to match.
Shayna’s bouquet was amazing! A keepsake bouquet arranged all shades of purple and ivory into this beautiful piece for her special day. Their wedding arch had the same bright pink flowers for the ceremony, and they used purple lighting for the reception. The added purple really stood out and created a vibrant atmosphere on their wedding day.
Shayna and Shane are high school sweethearts! He was a junior and she was a senior! Shayna’s cousin is in the closet after school and Shayna walks past and they greet each other. Shayna asked her cousin, “Who’s that? She’s cute!” She answered and told him Shane’s name! A few days later a letter was sent and well, a few years later they were married!!

Shane proposed at Walt Disney World! They made dinner reservations at Disney’s Polynesian Resort’s Ohana restaurant. “We arrived early, so we walked on the beach where the resort was. We had a photo package and there was a photographer on the beach who asked if we could take a photo. I was about to take a picture with Cinderella’s castle in the background, and when I turned around, Shane was on one knee asking me to marry him!
