New Unaltered Monique Lhuillier Alexandra Wedding Dress – The wedding dress is brand new and unchanged. The dress is still in Monique Lulier’s store in Beverly Hills. I fell in love with this dress that I wore to a wedding but didn’t have. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my husband and I had a very small backyard wedding and canceled our originally planned large wedding. I also purchased a matching floor length lace veil for $900 included with the purchase of the dress. After purchase, I will receive a Monique Lhuillier shopping package and dress. I will keep the dress in its original packaging and send it directly to you.

This is a beautiful silk white/nude strapless corset drop waist dress with a unique sculpted full circle skirt ball gown. I added extra length to the train so it’s really unique. It has intricate French lace over a bare bottom layer. The style is “Alexandra”. An absolutely beautiful, handmade item for someone special.
The dress has never been tried on, altered or worn. It was purchased at Joan Pillow Houston Bridal Boutique.
With the dress, for the price listed, I will include a veil with lace and horsehair trim for free. This veil costs $1800. I will also include extra fabric to make sleeves or a bolero (the extra side is exactly the same side as the dress) which will cost $1500. This extra lace would be used to add off the shoulder sleeves and to add extra lace around the veil. We added extra length to the train which cost $1000.

I’m 5’7″, 34b, bust 34, waist 26, hips 39 and I’m usually a size 2 or 4, however wedding sizes are very different so we ordered a size 8 knowing we would need alterations regardless. When we took measurements, I was a few inches above a size 6 for the bust, so the tailor at the bridal salon told us to go with an 8. She said most brides go up 1-2 sizes because the wedding dresses are different colors. The dress remains unchanged and unused with tags in perfect condition. We had a change of plans due to COVID so I needed something simpler. I never even tried it on after picking it up from the boutique (I didn’t want to fall in love with it again when I knew it wouldn’t work for the new location).This dress is waiting for the perfect bride!!
Note that photos 2-4 are from when I tried the issue on in the boutique. The third photo shows the veil that will be included. In the third picture I’m wearing a bolero pattern (not made from the same fabric and not fitted…I only tried it on to get an idea of how the sleeves would look with the dress, but when you buy it you will get extra lace which will be enough from the fabric to match the dress to make custom bolero/sleeve). The last picture is the actual dress with the veil. Message me if you want me to send you more photos of the physical dress…I will take it out of the dust bag the bridal boutique provided for photos ONLY. It is currently stored in my cedar closet and temperature controlled for the safest preservation.
