I love this decorating idea for Valentine’s Day because you can use things you already have and combine your favorite heart shaped decorations. For it, I hung a Milagro heart I found in Mexico, a vintage heart-shaped plate from New Orleans (I got married there!), and a heart shadow box.
You can recreate the heart shadow using a white shadow box and a heart cut out of pink or red magazine pages, or a sentimental Valentine’s Day card (the one I used was a heart from a card my husband gave me). Then hot glue the hearts to the back of the shadow box.
