Wedding Curls
Wedding Curls – Planning your wedding or attending a wedding, but still haven’t found your perfect hairstyle? Well, braids and braided hairstyles are a big hair fashion trend this year.
Whether your hair is naturally straight or naturally curly here are some amazing wedding hairstyles for long, short and medium length hair!
Wedding Curls
Most wedding hairstyles are designed for long hair, but now that short hair is in vogue, there are some exciting new looks to suit the modern bride and wedding guests.
Summer Wedding Hairstyles Curly Hair
For short wedding hair are wavy or loosely cropped chin-length bobs – which are very flattering for all ages.
To add an asymmetrical touch, one side can be the perfect place for wedding hair decorations, such as white or silver accessories.
Layers are a great way to compliment the natural movement in hair and make it easy to add some extra volume to fine hair. Hot waves can be easily achieved on straight, fine hair to create elegant, bridal hairstyles that are romantic and contemporary.
The ringlets and bouncy curls that fall around the shoulders make for a beautiful curvy wedding hairstyle for long hair and many brides wear this look with the added height of a bouffant.
Curly Wedding Hairstyles For Every Kind Of Bride
For a more casual and relaxed look, soft waves with a lightly tousled end are popular. You don’t have your wedding on the beach in Bali to opt for natural, beachy wave wedding hairstyles!
Half-up styles are the perfect semi-formal look for a wedding and you don’t have to have long hair to get this trendy look. Medium layered hairstyles and bobs give a trendy half up half down hairstyle that is beautifully balanced.
Whether you’re a bride or a wedding guest, and you’ve got a pixie cut, you can dress up your beautiful, face-framing curls with this year’s fun new hair accessories!
A side part with a side-swept fringe is a great way to highlight your eyes, and a long, asymmetrical fringe is worn with a haircut that’s short, medium or long.
Timeless Bridal Hairstyles
Big, barrel curls give a naturally glamorous look and long, blown hair looks the most glamorous in wedding hairstyles. And the array of up styles in this season’s wedding hairstyles is full of cascading curls.
The most popular choices are romantic looks that are traditional for the bride and groom – but with some updates

How To Style Wedding Hair Accessories With Curly Hair And Top Styling Tips
One of the biggest decisions you’ll make when it comes to your wedding look is your wedding hair, and that’s it
A big one. From classic updos to wedding updos (or even a messy bun if you’re Meghan Markle), you have options. But there are plenty of people who let their hair down on their big day, and for them, we’ve rounded up some serious wedding hairstyle inspiration!
“Wearing your hair up can feel more comfortable than wearing it in an unusual style that the bride is unsure about,” says bridal hair expert Sheila Rae Stone. “It also gives a nice frame to the face and softens the neck and shoulders.”
Whether you’re thinking of wearing your hair’s natural texture, brightening things up with curls or waves, or loosening up your locks with delicate fresh flowers, hair accessories or even nothing at all, we’ve got you covered. Free-flowing strands are effortlessly romantic and can look beautiful with or without curtains. And if you think your hair is too short (or too long) to pull it off, think again. In addition to super long bangs, countless have enhanced the look with bridal lobs and bobs.

We love this look, which is the perfect solution for anyone who appreciates fresh-faced appeal but wants to keep their locks slicked back. Thanks to strategically placed pins covered mostly with tiny pearls, the bride’s hair is completely pulled back from her face – the better to show off her beautiful cheeks and smile. “A few pieces or one side can be pointed back if it’s a really windy day for a more relaxed look,” adds Stone.
Love the finished half-up, half-down wedding look, but really want to keep your locks loose and voluminous? An ever-so-slightly more timeless option (than a formal ‘do) is to skip a part and have your stylist pull your hair back instead. “You want to start the volume in the middle of the top of the head to create a nice rounded profile with a slightly raised shape that complements the bride’s cheekbones,” says Stone. Place your veil in the center to give the illusion of a half-up style.
Volume powder is a must when brushing your hair back. Apply in small sections about an inch above the scalp before gently blending each back.

If perfectly polished and defined curls just aren’t your thing, might we suggest grabbing a paddle brush and going? Brushing the curls spreads their shape for a softer and livelier look that looks more effortless. We love how this gorgeous bride paired this style with a slightly off-center part to continue the relaxed look.
From the floral embroidery on her lovely lehenga to the serious stack of bangles and delicate mehlis, this bride’s wedding day outfit is full of beautiful details to be admired. As a counterpoint, we love that she kept her locks (and her makeup) very fresh and relaxed. Her natural beauty just radiates, and we certainly do.
We absolutely love how this bride’s floral embroidered, floor-length veil is parted from her neck and drapes over her shoulders. Paired with such classic bridal accessories, her unfussy, wavy ‘do imbues the whole look with a sophistication and lightness that is timeless. A smile says it all, right?
Skip the wedding hair – but it’s definitely worth it. And what’s not to love about a loose neck braid paired with side-swept long layers or bangs, face-framing tendrils, maybe even a delicate crown or flower? There are many ways to do the wedding ‘do it all yourself’.
Oh So Perfect Curly Wedding Hairstyles #2693380
Technically an updo, this low hanging ponytail works beautifully as a down wedding hairstyle that is fresh, relaxed and romantic. Finished with delicate flowers (which the bride picked that morning!) and cascading curls and face-framing tendrils cut to the ideal length, the look is absolute perfection. “Let the pieces hang around the face
Longer ones won’t frame the cheekbones well,” Stone notes. They only distract from the overall look and get caught in the lipstick.
Styled with a deep center part, perfectly tousled waves show off expert balayage, and finish with a traditional wedding veil – both in style and space. This classic bridal hairstyle is a stunner to pair with any gown bodice and neckline. “I usually recommend doing the hair color 10 days or two weeks before the wedding if it needs to be adjusted a lot,” says Stein.
Looking for proof of the versatility of hair down wedding styles? How about the beauties, one of whom went for classic bombshell curls and the other for an easy, sophisticated beauty? What can we say…we love them!
Times We Had Major Wedding Hair Envy
Everything about this bride’s wedding day style gives us rock ‘n’ roll vibes. We love how the bride stayed true to her lovely tousled and bangs. “If you know me, you know that I have hair that is my signature: long, natural black hair with a French braid, with a bit of a wavy texture,” says bride Maria. For the next generations of my family, I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day, so that my grandchildren and great-grandchildren would remember me that way.
Tight, free-flowing curls create the perfect DIY look. We absolutely love this hair length with deep, natural hair and curly locks. It’s the perfect balance of volume and length, without weighing down your beautiful tresses. With enough structure, nothing else is needed to live such a vibrant cove.
Whether you’re planning a warm-weather wedding or just love beachy waves, this hairstyle will look amazing on any length of hair. Style with a few flowers in your hair to add boho vibes, but beware of using too much product. “A mistake would be to wear hair too heavy
