I love it in a rich jewel tone like today’s hunter green or even a gorgeous plum. It’s luxurious but not expensive. And if you’re going to a black tie wedding, a velvet dress is simply gorgeous and perfect for the dress code.

This emerald green jewel tone can also be paired with just black heels and a black bag. I promise you don’t have to be friendly! It would be great for a cocktail wedding outfit or even semi-formal if you topped it off with more sparkle and added a bit of glam.
This is the perfect look for a winter wedding. From the jacquard fabric to the winter floral print, it’s just perfection. Pair with simple black accessories and sparkly earrings and you’re done. These elegant caps are popular this season. It’s actually easy to dress up. But I will say it’s not as luxurious as, say, a velvet wrap. I think it’s a fabric but it would work for a cocktail dress wedding or any winter party you have to go to. More neutral accessories are perfect for this

He was the best man at the wedding of two of our best friends. It was such a fun weekend and we are so looking forward to them! It’s been a while since I’ve had to dress up, so of course I was excited to put together a few outfits. Below I’m sharing what I wore to the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and even the third option I had as a backup haha! First, what I wore to the rehearsal dinner. When I saw this green satin dress, I fell in love! The gold accents are gorgeous and the colors go so well together! I ran a medium and small in this dress and the medium was much more comfortable. This is a wrap dress so you need to make sure you tie it tightly. I put a pin on top for extra security. I was so excited to finally get on board with the white shoe trend! These shoes are so stylish and comfortable! I went from a 1/2 size down to a 6. I found this black Amazon jacket last minute! It was longer than my dress which I love and kept me very warm. I completed this outfit with gold jewelry and my favorite black mask.
Next up is this gorgeous sweater dress I wore to my wedding! I love that the length hits the knees and the tie detail is really nice. I paired it with the same black jacket and my favorite pair of shapewear Spanx. But what I love most about this outfit are the shoes! I love a cute pair of shoes and these were right up my alley! I wore my actual size 6.5 and they were surprisingly comfortable. I completed this outfit with the same black mask and some Kendra Scott jewelry.

Last up is the super cute Amazon dress! I like the off the shoulder style. The only downside is that the material is a bit thin, so I decided to wear a red sweater dress instead. But for only $25, it’s a super cute date night outfit! I’m also wearing Spanx shapewear in the photo above. And I love that even though the material of the dress is thin, the shapewear is not visible! I paired it with the same white shoes and would wear the same jacket and mask if I wore it!
