Corgi Wedding The Corgi – It’s clear that Flynn is very much loved not only by the couple, but by all of his friends and family!
We caught up with Flynn getting some exercise time before they started their wedding day photo shoot. He is 5 years old but still has the energy of a puppy. When Flynn saw his mom for the first time, we’re not sure who was more excited: him or the bride!

Flynn received compliments throughout the day as he wore a tailored suit to match the bachelor. I stamped it and loved all the love and attention!

We had a backup plan in case Flynn was too nervous during the ceremony, but he stayed up the whole time and was such a good boy! We stayed until cocktail hour so Flynn could say hi to all his friends and then dropped him off at Pet Paradise for a well deserved dinner and much needed nap!
Flynn is such an important part of our lives that it seemed unimaginable that he wouldn’t be part of the celebration of our love. Our little family of three was together long distance, through moving to a new city, and we felt it was so important to have him with us as we took the next step. The first question we asked ourselves when we went shopping was: Are dogs allowed?!
Chabeli has had a dog her whole life, a poodle mix named Lassy, who lived to be 16! He died while she was in college, and it soon became clear that life without a companion dog was a lot less fun. Manny grew up without his parents allowing him to have a dog, so he wanted to get one too.
But Manny was in medical school at St. Maarten, an island near Puerto Rico, when Chabeli saw someone talking about an amazing corgi breeder in Missouri who had a litter of puppies. In an ideal world, we’d get Flynn if we were both in the same place. But Chabeli’s mother was at home taking care of his grandmother, so it seemed like the right time to get a puppy and have the extra support of family to look after him during his puppy days.

We researched the breeder, looked at pictures of the puppies and chose one. Cheri the breeder came back and said what about the other one?
Flynn, she said, was a “calm puppy from the litter.” We exchanged options and Chabeli picked him up at the Miami airport a few weeks later. If I was the quietest puppy in the litter, my wall and my shoes had to talk to Cheri. Flynn ate through the drywall, sandal by sandal.
Manny returned from St. Maarten a year later and after a few years in Miami, we recently moved to Orlando with Flynn living his best life, frequenting daycare for energy and enjoying dog parks and lakes.
Flynn was the ring bearer during the ceremony. We dressed him in a custom blue suit with a sage bow tie to match the groomsmen and Chabeli’s brother, the Man of Honor, sent him off.

Her dress even had a small ring pad in the back. We’re pretty sure everyone else was there to see it more than we were, so we made him drink during cocktail hour as well.
Flynn has the magical ability to turn everyone into a dog lover. He is so incredibly loving and caring that it is impossible not to get attached to him. He puts on a show with big puppy eyes.
And we always say he is a hooman dog because he greets all the people in the park.

Madi, our manager, was so professional and so ready to go. He had lint rollers for all of Flynn’s water to keep him active. We were amazed at how well behaved he was and remained still throughout the ceremony.
