Cool Beach Party Ideas
Cool Beach Party Ideas – This year I decided to have a beach party for my birthday! I’ve been thinking about doing something like this for years, but never got around to it. In fact, it’s always easier to have a birthday meal at a restaurant because then all you need to do is prepare and serve. However, this year I decided I would just go for it and make my beach dinner party a reality!
Is there more to do than going to a restaurant? Of course! If I say otherwise, it would be a lie. However, is it worth it? A thousand times yes!! It was one of the most special and magical nights and I would do it again. I’m sure some of you have thought about doing something similar, but I think maybe you can’t, so I wanted to share a blog post about how I made it happen tonight!
Cool Beach Party Ideas
The most time-consuming part of any party is the preparation! In order to know what supplies I need to fulfill my vision, I make a master list of everything I need. Then I collected those items and separated them into two separate ways, one for things I need to buy and one for things I already have. I know I’ll order food and luckily it will be delivered so I don’t have to worry about it. Other than food, the main things I need are:
Beach Party Ideas For A Perfect Outdoor Celebration
If you really want to go to a beach party, I suggest preparing a large charcuterie, various salads and other dishes. While this would be the ideal situation, I really don’t want the hassle of carrying all that food. To keep things simple, I decided to order a pizza and salad from the restaurant and then get cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes for dessert. Everyone brought their own drink for drinks. It works very well! Plus, who doesn’t love pizza?! I have ordered all the food before and only have to take it. Although it is a little difficult to know when the food will arrive, I would suggest doing it an hour after the party starts. Timing also depends on when you expect your guests to arrive.
I suggest going to the beach early to organize everything! If your guests are notoriously “late-style” or always on time, how soon is too early. Assuming they arrive on time, I think it’s best to start setting up about two hours in advance. It can be very painful, but you will have a lot of time this way and you will not feel it. I arrived about an hour and a half early and would have been at the beach much sooner.
When I got there, with the help of a few people, I arranged flower meadows out of wood, arranged flowers, herbs, and wrapped cloths. From there I made stakes and put nice circular stripes on them. I also originally planned to raise the flag on this birthday. But it was a bit windy that evening and it made the flags flutter so much that there was so much noise that you couldn’t read what they were saying. That’s the only thing that’s really wrong and why I’m a bit behind on the setup!
After that I’m sure the food will be ready to ship and I’m good to go!
Beach Party Decoration Ideas
Once the guests started arriving, the party went off without a hitch! We started with drinks and then enjoyed pizza and salad. After that, it was hung on wooden planks. As the sun started to set, I took out the cake and we sang happy birthday. From there we lit candles in mason jars and spent a few more hours blowing them out. It was truly a magical evening, and what better way than to party in a restaurant! Summer is my favorite season and I love this heat wave! If you are looking for a beach themed party, this post is for you.
