Engagement Pic Ideas – If you’re looking for home engagement ideas that feel nostalgic, cozy, and intimate, consider shooting a lifestyle engagement at your home or your kids’ home, or both! This particular session was especially meaningful because we started the photos at Aaron’s parents’ house and finished with their pets, Dale and Roger (I love that they have human names!). Dale the dogs were all over the photo shoot, but in true feline fashion, Roger definitely had some reservations. The furry duo made us laugh with their antics which provided even more photo opportunities. We had a great time filming in their private home with a relaxed atmosphere. A home session gives off a completely different vibe than shooting in public.

Ironically, the boyfriend flannel shirts fit really well with boxer shorts and look very fashionable and photo-worthy anyway! But do it for yourself – not for the ‘gram. If you want to try something different together and go for a super intimate shoot, your home is a great place to do it! I always love how fun and flirty these photos turn out and you will be too. Dance in the kitchen, do yoga together, play with your pets. Do what makes you happy!
