All nightly and weekly reservations require a deposit of two nights or half of your stay, whichever is greater. Monthly reservations require a $500 deposit. Any balances are due upon arrival. Personal checks are not accepted at check-in.
Nightly/Weekly Stays: For all stays of less than 30 nights, no refunds will be given on arrival or after arrival. Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance will be refunded in the form used for payment. Deposits will be forfeited for all reservations canceled less than 14 days prior to arrival date.

All site numbers can be changed prior to arrival unless a site lock fee is paid with your reservation. All certified RV types are permitted unless restricted by site-specific restrictions. Tents and conversion vans are only permitted in designated tent areas. Only one small tent may act as a secondary unit at a site, at Sun Outdoors’ discretion, site size permitting, and must be removed during the day. Canopy dining tents are permitted but cannot be set up with a pup tent. Areas must be cleared of trash and debris before leaving. Additional fees may result in locations requiring additional cleaning.

All bookings include a maximum of 6 guests unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on maximum occupancy of the venue. The individual booking the site must be at least 18 years of age and physically present at the time of check-in.
Campers are responsible for their guests. Each visitor must register at the Welcome Center and pay the visitor fee, which is $10 per person, per day. Guests can stay overnight after the day of access, as long as the place does not exceed the maximum occupancy.
We encourage you to visit the individual property’s website for specific information and dates related to onsite amenities closures and other information specific to the property. Please note that all facilities are on a seasonal, weather-dependent schedule, which may have limited hours during spring and fall. We reserve the right to close any facilities at our discretion without notice. See rules and regulations posted throughout the property for more information about our facilities. Certain locations require guests to show their property-issued wristband at all times while on-site, as well as for access to facilities.
Our silence is from 23:00. – 8 am. daily, but please be respectful of other guests at all times of the day. During quiet hours, loud talking, loud radios, loud televisions or other loud noises are not permitted. The use of generators on the property is not allowed. We enforce a curfew – anyone under the age of 18 cannot leave their premises or rental after 11pm. unless traveling to and from toilet facilities accompanied by an adult.

Please respect your neighbors’ privacy and space. Do not walk or pass through another visitor’s site. Respect our local culture, wildlife and other visitors. Remember our local laws and resource conservation. Sun Outdoors is proud to promote an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere at all of our properties. Offensive or bigoted language and actions will not be tolerated, including those related to race, religion, sexual orientation or political opinions, and the presence or availability of any language, actions, visuals or symbols (for example, visuals depicting flags, swastikas, races .insults, etc.) that may be considered offensive will not be allowed on the property. We reserve the right to immediately terminate a reservation and evict any guest, without refund, for non-compliance with these rules and/or staff requests that you remove any offensive images or symbols from being displayed.
Smoking is not permitted in vacation rentals or cottages, bathrooms and showers, indoor facilities, common areas or any outdoor facilities. Smoking is permitted on your own site as long as it is done in a way that does not directly or indirectly affect the experience of other visitors. Alcohol is permitted to adults of legal drinking age, provided it is done in a way that does not directly or indirectly affect the experience of other guests. Alcohol must be consumed responsibly. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Each site is provided with a table, as well as a fire pit if local regulations allow. Please do not burn or leave litter on fire pits and do not move fire pits without staff permission. All bonfires must be kept in the pit/ring, and bonfires are allowed from 8 am to midnight. Never leave a fire unattended. County restrictions may apply and will be posted in the office. Wood burning and barbecue grills are prohibited at Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay. Any chemical or toxic material must remain closed at all times or be safely removed from the reach of children or animals.
We are a pet friendly resort, but pets are not allowed to disturb other guests and must be cleaned up after the owners. Pets must always be leashed and contained when not kept inside a trailer, and no pet may be left unattended outside a trailer, even on site. There is a maximum of two pets per reservation with a non-refundable fee of $50 per reservation for any pet in a vacation rental or cabin. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to remove or restrict disturbing or aggressive pets. All pets must also be up to date on vaccinations, and copies of the pet’s vaccination records must be available upon request. Upon check-in, please inform the office of your pets if you did not add them to your booking during the booking process.
