Limited Seating At Ceremony – For whatever reason, you don’t want children in your marriage. Not to mention! Here are 28 classic ways to say “sorry, no kids.”

The communication of an “adults only” wedding ceremony and reception is less about the wedding invitations and less about addressing them properly.

There are ways to mark an adults-only wedding in your wedding invitations. While it’s inappropriate to say “adults only” or “no children” on the invitation, you can do so on your welcome card. You can also say things like “intimate ceremony” or “cocktail reception” at a “fancy hotel” or “downtown nightclub.” We hope guests understand that these areas are not suitable for children.

Be sure to address your envelopes correctly so you know when they will receive your invitation first. Guests should understand that only those named on the inner envelopes are invited to the wedding. Here is an example:

“[X] places are reserved in your memory. Let us know if you join us!

“We respectfully request that no children attend the reception to allow all wedding guests, including parents, to relax and enjoy the party undisturbed.”

“To give all our guests the chance to celebrate without worrying about little eyes and ears, we kindly ask that no children be present.”

“We hope you understand our decision to have child-free weddings and have the opportunity to celebrate even better!”

“To ensure that all guests relax and enjoy themselves, we decided to make our special day just for adults. Thank you for your understanding.”

If you want to be clear, mark on the permit card or map. I don’t think it’s too offensive because every person should have their marriage differently and value it more. Each of the following is a great example of letting your guest(s) know they are the only ones invited to the family. I especially like this local example, because a little white lie never hurt anyone, just don’t tell anyone. These examples, along with double envelopes, will help guests understand for sure

Dear friends and family, our wedding ceremony and reception is for adults only. Thank you for fulfilling this request and we look forward to seeing you in June!

Flag Day Ceremony Held Sunday In Jonesboro

“While we love the kids to run around and play, this will be an adults-only day.

“While we love your children, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate them due to limited seating. We hope you can join us for a relaxing evening with friends and family!” Wondering how to write your wedding invitations? Should you go formal or something casual? How do you let your guests know you have a gift list without being rude? How do you politely ask children not to attend? Wedding invitation wording can be tricky to decipher, but I’m here to help. Read my tips and ideas for writing wedding invitations…

As you can see from the two images above, formal wedding invitations are very specific and usually represent a traditional wedding. There are certain rules to follow when issuing formal invitations, and the wording varies depending on whether the wedding ceremony will be held in a church or the same venue as the reception. The calligraphy style is very traditional with lots of elegant flourishes and details.

Everything goes with a modern appeal! You can use any name, add any information you want and express however you feel. The fonts and handwriting you use are very free and fluid, and you don’t have to mention your parents if you don’t want to. Of course, these images are only a guide. I am happy to add any information you would like. If you want a more formal style invitation, but want to bend the rules a bit, that’s fine, I can do that. If you want a more modern invitation and a more formal signature style, I can do that too.

How To Word Your Wedding Invitations — Clare Gray Designs

If you want to send save-the-dates, they should reflect the style you use for your invitations, so if you’re planning to send a formal invitation, you can use the following wording in your save-the-date text. :

Save the date for the marriage of Eleanor Jane Jones and Jacob Oliver Williams, Saturday, June twentieth, two thousand and twenty, Cambridgeshire to follow Official Invitation

To store the date style, you can use minimal words:

If you are having a wedding, you may want to let your guests know about the venue with the date, this will give them time to book extra time if needed and plan their vacation!

All the detail cards are different and perfectly suit you and your wedding. If you are having a destination wedding and are planning some interactive games or sports, you can add more information to the list if you want to plan something different and exciting at your wedding and let your guests know about it.

Here’s my guide to what you want to include in your wedding day detail card:

RSVP – If you didn’t include an RSVP card in your invitation, you can add a line at the top of the details card asking guests to RSVP via email by a specific date. Email address or mobile phone number. Don’t forget to ask about dietary requirements, so find out if guests need a special menu.

Ceremony – If your venue is hard to find or is in a private residence, include the full address of the venue, possibly written directions and local signs. You can also schedule a time when guests are seated and ready for the ceremony to begin. This is usually 15 minutes before the ceremony to avoid delays.

Reception – If your reception is at a private venue, you must provide the full name and address of the reception venue and parking lot.

Travel – If you have organized group transportation from the ceremony location to the reception location, such as a wedding bus, let your guests know when and where you will catch the bus!

Accommodation – Booked bulk hotel rooms near reception? Do you have a list of recommended accommodations by the reception area for guests to stay nearby? Local hotel names and contact details can help your guests plan their stay.

Taxi – Providing guests with the numbers of local taxis is helpful. You can advise guests to book taxis in advance if possible. Here you can also specify the reception end time, for example “carts at midnight” or “last orders at the bar at 11.30pm”.

Children – Whether you invite children or not, you should make this clear in the invitation, for example, “We regret that we cannot accept children at our wedding.” Everything you need can be there. Alternatively, you can take a slightly softer approach and say, “We love your children, but due to limited numbers, unfortunately we cannot extend this invitation to children whose names are not on the invitation. We hope you consider this an opportunity to enjoy Grown Up Day and let your hair down to celebrate with us. Whatever your children’s policy, I can help you put something friendly into your profile cards.

Giveaways – Are you signed up for giveaways? Collecting your honeymoon funds? Are you collecting for a specific charity? Want to say “please don’t donate”? Whatever the status of your gift, don’t forget to mention it on your detail card as well. “The greatest gift of all was your love, laughter and companionship on our wedding day. We don’t need gifts. But if you’d like to give us a wedding gift. Or contribute to our honeymoon, we’ve registered (registration link).”

You may need to include other pieces in your invitation package, especially if you’re hosting a wedding or offering food options for your guests. I can print anything you want, you name it, I print it. Here are some ideas for additional elements and details you may want to include:

RSVP Cards – If your guests prefer to RSVP by mail, you may want to send an RSVP card with your invitations. I like to keep things simple – a double sided card with your return address on the other side and space for guests to write
