Moss Wedding
Moss Wedding – After last week’s bold and beautiful palette to celebrate Independence Day, I decided to tone it down a bit on today’s inspiration board. A southern-inspired summer wedding with Spanish moss, light browns, neutrals and greens with just a hint of blush. Sophisticated and elegant, this is a timeless palette for the couple looking for something romantic but not too feminine!

I just love the shades of green! While I had summer in mind when creating this inspirational palette, this palette would of course suit a spring party or even an autumn wedding – as long as the day is still long and warm. Choose a location, such as a historic home or a country house, and let the location’s warm lighting and spacious grounds form the basis of your interior design.
Budget Friendly Moss Wedding Décor Ideas
Keep the style timeless and elegant, but with hints of texture and vintage – with such a simple color palette, textures are key! So lace and velvet are layered, with aged leather, rustic wood and metal. I love the vintage boutonniere holder and the rusty finish of the antique ring case. And how amazing is it that a simple wedding cake can be transformed with creative icing and fresh flowers?!
When it comes to flowers, you can’t go wrong with organic white flowers and greenery. And if you spend the evening under the hanging trees covered with Spanish moss, you can keep the centerpieces to a minimum! But romantic lighting, perhaps some hanging chandeliers and old candlesticks on the table, is a must.
Too romantic, right? If that’s not for you, check out the Classic Bridal Luxury archive for more wedding colors and the perfect summer inspiration palette! There’s something so wonderful about southern plantations – especially the incredible Spanish moss that hangs from the trees. It would certainly make a beautiful backdrop for the bridal shoot styled by stylist ADRIANA MARIE EVENTS in this editorial by ERIKA BROWN, as seen in MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE issue 17. Taken at MAGNOLIA PLANT, it also has a beautiful dress by CAROL HANNAH.
A bride’s early morning thoughts and solitude are often seen by no one but herself, and for most brides, nothing is unthinkable. The moments before becoming a woman and before the day of birth set the tone for the day ahead. Here we are part of the bride’s soulful early morning journey through solitude, simplicity and grace as she sips her morning coffee and breathes in the southern air. All the happy details from organic flowers, luxurious furniture, simple bed linen and romantic flowing dresses provide inspiration for the bride on this warm morning.

November 28 The natural beauty of Big Sur inspired this minimalist and elegant wedding overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Big Sur Real WeddingsMoss is a fresh and budget-friendly idea for many types of weddings and I would say it’s a hot trend right now. Moss can be used to decorate forests, gardens, rustic weddings and only in spring and summer. Moss is not like ordinary flowers but a modern wedding decoration. How to make the best use of it? Let’s see.
To cover the table, choose moss carpet or tablecloth; Make a lovely tablecloth out of moss and add flowers, hats, cactus or anything else that fits your wedding style. Moss centerpiece: place a log on top of the moss and place a candle, it will set the mood. Fill the box with moss, succulents, candles and herbs or flowers and number on the moss chart.
Attention to detail, including the ring cushion and box. Make a cool moss ring pillow or fill it with moss in a glass or wood ring box to add a jungle spirit to your wedding.
