Although this formula is a vegan formula, it provides 100 percent of mom’s iron and iodine needs as well as 50 percent of the daily recommended manganese. These are three things that many other vegan formulas don’t offer. This is another good reason to consider this prenatal: it’s formula once a day!
Vitamin Code is another popular food-based prenatal. It is non-GMO, does not contain fillers, and is processed at low heat for optimal nutrient retention. It’s strong in vitamin C, iodine, iron, and all the B vitamins. It contains twice the vitamin D3 of most prenatals, but it’s lower in vitamin K, which can be a problem for good calcium absorption.
