Brides and Tailors is primarily a small e-commerce business, so the entire process can be done online from AZ. We work with brides in the United States and are not a typical boutique where customers can shop off the shelf. Once the dress is finished, it is sent directly to the bride. Final fittings can be made with a local seamstress in Canton, Michigan for local Michigan brides after the dress is finished.
We make sure we are transparent with our brides from the start of the process. After receiving inspiration photos or sketches of the bride’s desired design, we first determine the availability of the material and whether the final result of the dress will be at least 80% similar to the end result the bride envisions. We only use inspiration photos to get the general idea of what the bride is looking for. WE DO NOT COPY DESIGNER DRESSES. We only use high quality material for all our garments. We keep the customer informed throughout the process and share photos of the dress with the customer before shipping!

The goal of brides and tailors is to provide brides with the wedding dress of their dreams in the perfect size. The customer has the option to define standard criteria for inspection. However, once checked in, the bride will receive our step-by-step measurement guide and ask to be measured by a local tailor/tailor in her area. After you send us your measurements, we repeat them on the models to ensure they look logical. If any of the measurements are of concern, we will contact the customer/ask them to double check. The measurements are very simple and the bride will have to go through the guide pictures before visiting any tailor.

Our color charts have a variety of colors that you can choose to use. Tulle, satin, lining, etc. If we have different color charts for it, please contact us if the color you need is not available.

No problem! We are here to provide an interior design/tailoring experience. If you still have time for changes, we will review the changes to see if there are any additional costs. If it’s a small change, we can do it for you! It will be difficult to make sweeping changes, especially if asked closer to the field.

You don’t have to wait 6 months to get your wedding dress finished, as it can be finished in an average of 12 weeks.
We ship our wedding dresses using FedEx Home Delivery and USPS Priority Mail for fast shipping and tracking. The dress will be carefully folded to ensure the beads and all the work are protected and placed in our high quality dustproof garment bag to keep the dress neat and tidy in a thick and secure packaging box. All packages must be signed. Couriers cannot leave packages at the gate/front yard.
As with a traditional wedding dress, the bride may need to make some minor adjustments. If you visit a bridal salon in Michigan, do your final fitting service, and realize that the dress needs a few alterations to make it perfect, we’ll be happy to take care of that for you. Brides who have their dresses sent to them usually don’t need any alterations to their dresses as they are made to their measurements, so if you need minor alterations like trimming a few inches, any local seamstress can help with that. We do not cover the cost of alterations. If the dress requires additional fabric/material for minor alterations, we will be happy to assist the bride.
