As I pointed out in my party planner, there are a lot of things that you need to pull together when planning a big event.
The first step in planning your pre-wedding celebration is choosing a wedding theme. Try to use a single theme, such as your honeymoon destination, favorite city, or hobby. Then put a layer on top of the color scheme.
These days you can find all kinds of wedding invitations online, from virtual e-cards to more formal printed ones.

Vintage Bridal Shower
For my niece’s wedding, I needed three tables to accommodate my guests, so I wanted each table to have a common color scheme without being too “matchy”.
Based on the floral pattern in my printable game, I decided to use blush pink, white, gold, and green as my colors.
For my bridal shower, I decided to use a white tablecloth and gold napkins instead of a full venue, as I had a buffet of food and drinks. (Click the right/left arrows to shop similar gold chargers below.)
I then placed my free wedding advice cards on the paper along with a gold patterned washi tape pen. If you play wedding games, you need a pen.

For accent greens, we used seeded eucalyptus, which I recommend for a mixed texture. Really lovely!

My main formal dining table is too big for a tablecloth, so I decorated it with two fake eucalyptus flowers (6 feet each) and real roses. These wreaths will come in handy for future events for friends and family!

Then I placed a few mercury glass candle holders and taller flameless candles at the end. I love these mercury glass beauties, you can see how they are changed throughout the year, for example, with mercury glass ornaments.
By the way, I’m also a big fan of these flameless candles (sold in plain ivory or gold stripes). You won’t find a better value anywhere else! They come with a remote control that allows you to adjust fire patterns and timer settings. Such a great purchase!
The last element added to the tables is the table spread. This mix of pearls and rhinestones is very useful not only for bridal showers but also for other celebrations.

If you’re looking to “elevate” your cake (literally), try my DIY cake toppers, which are great gifts for brides and grooms.
DIY bridal shower decorations should include fun and entertainment before the gift opening. Who doesn’t love a good wedding game?
For me, that means photography gear! I found a nice set of pictures that I could print and cut out myself. Then I placed them on my favorite mini cart and added some “just married” tins.
But why stop there? I decided to make a second enlarged bridal shower sign to get more photos.

To tie the event ribbon, I made goodie bags and designed a “thank you” tag with my Cricut. My niece is going to Italy for her honeymoon, so I tried to throw in some Italian accents here and there.
