While soft white tones are classic winter wonderland colors, we didn’t want our tablescape to be too white. Therefore, we decided to incorporate bright colors into our color palette to perfectly complement the all-white accents. And since winter wonderland themed decorations are all about sparkle, shine, sparkles and glitter, we’re inspired by landscapes that glisten with sparkling frost in the sunlight and set the table with our silver sequin tablecloths. With extraordinary sparkle and elegance, the sequin tablecloth, dazzled with thousands of glittering silver sequins, brought a charismatic glow to center stage while creating a glamorous base for our whimsical country table decor. winter wonderland In addition, following the example of the blanket of snow that paved the ground, we also deploy a beautiful white velvet table path along the middle of the tablescape. With the glossy finish and velvety soft texture, our luxurious velvet table runner perfectly emulated the soft cotton-like snow carpet that beautifully complemented the winter wonderland theme.

With the basics of our tablescape laid out, let’s move on to table settings. Because we knew the secret to creating a mesmerizing winter wonderland table lay in using elements inspired by nature, we looked for chargers that slightly mimicked the unique design of charming snowflakes to invoke the enchanting charm wintry So we decided to give our Clear Scalloped Edge Charging Plates a shot and they shined! Featuring clear acrylic construction and elegant scalloped edges with a distinctive baroque design on the outer edge, these chargers fit perfectly. Because the scalloped edge design worked so well, we ended up pairing the charger plates with our white and silver scalloped design flat plates and silver flatware set with decorative handles along with elegant silver flutes and glasses for an elegant winter table of wonders. However, when it came to choosing the napkins, we looked no further than our white velvet napkins which matched the table runner perfectly. But we didn’t stop there, to add to the luxe appeal of our setup, we tied the napkins with clear craft wire and embellished them with our ivory pearl and rhinestone brooches that emulated the baubles of fluffy snow just fallen from the shining sky. in the light
Holiday Party Decor
When it comes to themed tablescapes, there’s no doubt that centerpieces are the star of the show. With that in mind, it only made sense that we’d go for a striking centerpiece that would not only ooze grandeur, but also help tie this whole winter wonderland feel together. So we placed our glorious white Manzanita tree with acrylic chains on our table using a round mirror to double its whimsical visual appeal. Glittering acrylic glass chains looked like glowing candies falling from the thin branches laden with heavy white snow, while the LED mirror ball string lights we creatively placed on the tree added plenty of charm and sparkle in our winter wonderland centerpiece.
Because winter wonderland themed decorations are incomplete without a touch of romantic sparkle, we placed a pair of silver metal glass chain chandeliers with white votive candles on either side of our tree centerpiece, like you can see in the installation video. However, to elevate our table decor even further, we also scattered some silver votive candles set inside clear votive candelabras throughout the tablescape that cast a soft, warm glow over the table. Also, to top off our winter wonderland table decor, we also added a handful of ivory silk petals to the mix which added a lovely floral touch to our winter inspired tablescape.
While our table was full of beautiful winter-inspired accents, the chairs didn’t look right. Then, to keep with the majestic winter wonderland theme, we swapped out our regular dining chairs for chivari chairs in silver tones that helped reinforce the wintry colors. However, for the chair decorations, instead of searching for the right chair accents, we decided to decorate the chairs with linens and decorations that were already in use. So we effortlessly dressed the chair backs with white velvet runners using pearl and rhinestone clasps to stylishly hold the runners in place.
Also, since we wanted to imbue an authentic winter wonderland feel, creating a backdrop for our tablescape to complete the scene made perfect sense. So we placed two-layer white chiffon backdrops on a sturdy metal backdrop that brought delicacy and serenity to our winter wonderland setup.

Really, where have the last two years gone? It was exactly two years ago this weekend that we were preparing for our Winter Wonderland themed wedding. Preparing all the last minute decorations and putting the final touches to prepare for the big day.
How To Create A Snowy Candle Centerpiece
Although at first, I wasn’t 100 percent convinced about having a December wedding, now I’m incredibly grateful that I did. It was so magical with the light layer of snow on the ground.
For our wedding, our theme colors were ivory, silver and blush, pretty much my favorite color combination of all time. When I thought about having a winter wedding, I wanted it to be magical, bright and a little rustic, as these characteristics aligned well with our venue.
We recently moved into our new home a few months ago and what I was most excited about in the new home was the large open concept kitchen and dining room, perfect for entertaining. In our old house, we didn’t have a large dining room table, so I couldn’t do much in terms of decorating.
To celebrate the joy of the season (and my love of decorating), I decided to put my winter wonderland themed wedding decorations to good use and set the table for Christmas this year .

I also bought a custom floral cake topper with the intention of being able to use it after our wedding as a winter centerpiece.
When I was taking out all the Christmas decorations this year, I immediately thought of floral cake decorating. I went on a little mission to find it in my wedding keepsake box and sure enough it worked perfectly placed on top of a mercury glass vase. You’d never guess it was once used as a cake topper.
I also saw some antique ivory bottle brush Christmas trees when I went shopping one day and it was love at first sight. They caught my attention immediately!

Then I filled the spaces in the center of the table with faux snow (polyfill works perfectly for this!) and topped it off with sparkly pine cones I made a few years ago (you can see that DIY project here) plus some blush ornaments and sparkly baubles she was going around.
For each place setting, I used silver plates as the base topped with white plates. I had some ivory doilies and sparkly doilies that we had received as wedding favors, which went perfectly with the theme.
