An undecorated hallway can actually be beautiful, especially when it’s surrounded by raised chairs and a planter filled with flowers. When the space is particularly stunning, Wall says Bixby + Pine likes to let it speak for itself and remain unadorned. “You could be in the woods, or on top of a cliff, or somewhere super epic where you don’t need to set the background,” he says.
