Step 1: The first thing we’re going to do is start with the base. Take your foam cube and place it about halfway into your square candle holder. Insert your birch branch into the foam cube.
Now take your birch branches and apply the hot glue. Reinsert your birch branch and push the foam cube into the glass candle holder so that it only protrudes about a third of an inch. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Use a foam cutter to cut a circle from the center of the half foam dome. The circle must be large enough to fit your birch branch. Place the foam dome on the birch branch. Your foam dome should fit snugly into your square candlestick.

Step 3: Place the foam ball on the birch branch and make a notch in the foam ball. Take the foam ball and add the hot glue to the birch branches. Now attach your foam ball to your birch branch, making sure it’s about 1-1 1/2 inches above your branch.
Step 4: Use a sponge brush to paint the cream on the birch branches. The paint will make your branch stand out. However, if you like the more rustic look of the branches, there is no need to add paint.
Step 5: Due to the density of the foam half dome, inserting the plastic stems is a bit difficult. So what I do is first I arrange the flowers, I open a flower needle and punch holes in it. This makes it easier to insert the flowers.
First, I will attach 12-16 purple dahlias. Next I will attach 4-6 eggplants or a purple hydrangea. Finally, fill in the remaining space with tawny roses and eucalyptus leaves.

Step 6: Combine 4-6 Cyan Hydrangea Heads, 8-12 Purple Hydrangea Heads, 12-16 Purple Dahlias, 4-6 Cyan Roses, 6-8 Blue Roses, 6-8 Purple Roses, 6-8 Fawn Roses and 4-6 eucalyptus leaves.
