Halloween Theme Wedding – Sharing a deep respect for Halloween, real-life couple Rebecca and Paul designed a chic Halloween-themed wedding to celebrate their love for each other and their bond over the holiday. It may sound like a daunting task – planning an elegant event based on this particular motif – but it was a challenge that their organizer and designer, Lauren Chitwood, embraced with enthusiasm. “We wanted to have an elegant Halloween wedding without the scares,” she explains. “The motivation was love

The idea, than it was a hideous bash.” So they created their vision for a complicated and terrifying big day.

As they entered the event, guests entered a dark space filled space. The car was decorated with red flower petals and low candles to emphasize the concept. The couple said their “I dos” under a wooden arch decorated with marsala flowers, tall branches and faux spider webs. Attendees then entered the grand reception hall, which featured long curtains and fake spiders crawling on webs that wound across the ceiling, and found their seats at long tables with intricately patterned black linens. Atop each table were floral arrangements, including blooms in deep shades of red and purple, and a tall candelabra decorated with spider webs. Photographer Amy Campbell commented: “Walking in space was amazing.” “What was once a ballroom was now a Halloween wonderland. “

The focal point of the evening was the presentation of the couple’s main dessert. “A stunning decorative feature was the six-tiered wedding cake that hung upside down from the chancel that was lowered into the bedroom,” says Lauren. A delicious fall feast was provided for revelers as they danced the night away, and several professional makeup artists were on hand to paint the faces of anyone who dared to approach. It was truly an exciting celebration of love and fun!

Or consider monochrome with pops of color. a few neutrals or metals like black and copper or charcoal and ivory. You get the point of Halloween, but you push it so hard that it’s overwhelming.”
