This is literally what I’m dealing with right now. I’m going for beta tomorrow & Monday… I’m honestly prepared for the worst. I had chemo last June, and I’m trying for 14 months. I am absolutely terrified. We plan the next IUI cycle and then surprise! Positive…. Well, now I’m not sure. This is how dark my head was on Monday, then Tuesday AM was weak, 2nd urine was the same as Monday and today my AM was weak …. You had no chance to pee a second morning.

You are right! Thanks W2Mama2 There is a pattern where all my fmu are weak compared to smu or given. I just wonder why there is so much difference in the dark line. 13DPO looks very similar to BFN? ????????
My FMU is never my strongest – I always go with my smu. I think that is the same case with you, given the pattern and timestamps on your tests.

If your urine has passed, your test will be lighter. Do not drink anything for at least 3-4 hours before the test.
Do you take it first thing in the morning at the same time at the same retention and concentration hours!? 😄

Hey! I had this EXACT same question. My tests were lighter this morning. I don’t pee for 2-3 seconds before inserting the test. When you use the first drops of pee, it is inconsistent and diluted. I realized this after taking two tests an hour apart and the first was almost negative and the second was a solid BFP.
This happened with my ectopic pregnancy. My betas went up and down for two weeks and then they found the blood in my fallopian tube.
I’m so curious how this ended!? Are you having a baby in January? Something similar happens with my tests. Thanks in advance!!

Urine tested 2 mornings and got a faint pink line (within the limit). Retested with 3rd or 4th urine and found BFN. Could it be a bad test or evaporation?
FMU is more concentrated so it is often more potent compared to urine later in the day which can be diluted by hydration.
A Bfn With A Cheapie Using Fmu… A Light Bfp With A Frer Smu Same Day
Third and fourth urine will dissolve more. Test again with the first morning’s urine in a day or two and your line should rise again and be darker. happy, healthy 9!
I don’t think you are definitely pregnant. urine can be purified and false negatives are rare. I would definitely test again in the morning. Good luck
Digital is less sensitive. Stick with one brand/type of test for now. I would go without abstinence above all, and make sure that your urine is FMU or of a minimum of three hours without liquid intake. You will
