Costco isn’t a traditional supermarket, it’s a membership warehouse club. There is no free membership, day pass or trial option. For customers, this means you’ll need a membership to shop here regularly. There are four different membership levels, so there’s likely to be one to suit your needs. However, if you’re not sure whether joining is right for you, you can log in without showing your membership card and have a look around.
At Costco, they strive to provide the best value and quality products to their customers. For example, Costco’s prices are often 15-50% lower than Trader Joe’s.

All fresh products are Whole30 compliant. Costco offers several organic options. These are some of my favorite organic options at Costco:
If you’re cooking with less produce, Costco might not be the best place to pick up Whole30 fruits and vegetables. Products come in such large quantities that unless you prepare them in advance, they may go bad before you can use them. Frozen fruits and vegetables are a great way to still buy Whole30 Foods at Costco. As long as they don’t contain additives like sugar, you can find great frozen foods that are Whole30 compliant. Here are my top picks:
Any organic meat will suit Whole30. I like to use organic chicken breast, chicken thighs, grass-fed steak, pork, turkey, or ground beef like ground beef and ground turkey.
In addition, seafood is a great protein choice on the Whole30, such as sustainably sourced salmon, shrimp, cod, halibut and scallops.

Remember that all fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats, eggs and seafood qualify as long as there is nothing incompatible with them. So 0.89 cents/dozen eggs is totally worth it and regular ground beef is good too!
To have in return for what one cannot have. There is a huge variety of real food available to us in America even on very tight budgets, and that is a great privilege.
