Photographer For Engagement Photos Innear Philly
Photographer For Engagement Photos Innear Philly – Do you want to know a secret? The engagement session is my favorite! Don’t get me wrong – I live for the thrill and glamor of wedding day photography, but there’s something really special about photographing two people in love and letting them be together without pressure and hassle.
I shoot couples in love in all seasons, all over the greater Philadelphia area, and I’ve learned some of the best places to shoot knockout shots. Some couples know exactly where they want to be photographed, but others are open to suggestions of new and unknown places to explore. The location of your session is not just a beautiful space – it should reflect some of you as a couple. If you don’t like the beach, obviously don’t go there. If you never go downtown, avoid it.

Classic Philadelphia feel – perfect if you love the brick, architecture and historic feel of the Sister City. Ask about my favorite little residential street with its twinkling white lights all year round.
Great views of the Philadelphia skyline from the top of the steps, a chance to pose with the “Rocky” Statue and the greenery behind the museum in Azalea Gardens for a change of scenery and a more “natural” look. Expect crowds or tourists on weekends and evenings – great for the outgoing couple who doesn’t mind showing a little PDA. Permissions are required for wedding or engagement photos.
Impressive views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, unique structure and architecture, and lots of historic charm. Permission is required for wedding or engagement photography.

Street art and murals abound in Fishtown, making it the perfect spot for any couple looking for a quirky urban feel.

World renowned as one of the largest horticultural display gardens in the United States – it’s the greenhouses and holiday light displays that make it great for photography any time of the year. You can’t get married in Longwood, so take advantage of its varied and exotic backdrop for your engagement! During the holiday season, visits should be planned in advance. A paid registration fee is required.

The 2,042-acre park in Northwest Philadelphia makes the perfect place for city dwellers who crave the outdoors. Great at any time of the year.
Similar to Lock Ridge Park, Ridley Creek has a natural setting combined with stone structures, courtyards, and more, about 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. From the summer of 2021, I am a pre-approved photographer of this beautiful park!
Philadelphia’s answer to Grand Central Terminal – charming Art Deco architecture inside – chic city views outside. Be prepared to shoot around the busy crowd of passengers at most hours of the day. Best for an extroverted couple who doesn’t mind laughing in front of many passers-by!
Oversized boats, reflections on the water, and quirky signage make it an ideal spot for photography whether you’re a marine enthusiast or not. There is no longer an active marine presence here, but it is home to the national campus of Urban Outfitters. *Update 2021: I was told that photography is not allowed on the Navy Yard campus, but I can’t find any information online that confirms this. Instead of deleting this place, I recommend people do some research before going.

The oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the United States, many couples looking for historic charm choose to take their engagement photos here. Unless you visit early in the morning, groups of tourists will have a hard time finding a private and romantic moment in Elfreth’s Alley. I’ve started recommending other locations for couples looking to incorporate pebbles and a sense of history into their photo shoot.
The iconic view of City Hall from Philadelphia’s Broad Street is a must for many couples – but be prepared to avoid some traffic and wait until cars/buses/bikes break in mid-stream continuously to get this photo worth it!
