Country Chic Bridal Shower
Country Chic Bridal Shower – Fall is officially here, and what better way to plan a fall in love-themed country-inspired bridal shower? I’ve teamed up with Michaels Weddings to bring this intimate, rustic bridal shower to life and make it easy for you to recreate this look with a fall-inspired palette.
For the wedding reception, I wanted the guests to feel at home because it was held outside the farm at sunset. I placed cushions around a low table made from a wooden palette and covered them with an autumn plaid throw. There are stacks of hay bales and white and soft orange pumpkins used as centerpieces.

One design I’ve always liked is the welcome sign that guests see as soon as they enter a party. Since this is a rustic themed bridal shower, a chalkboard sign with a wood frame is perfect. Chalk drawing works well on this logo as it is more vibrant and easier to read. It can also be used as a fun photo prop.

To create this beautiful fall centerpiece, I used a variety of faux flowers and pumpkins to cover the length of the low table. In keeping with the low style of the table, I also kept the centerpiece in horizontal proportions rather than a tall arrangement.
This setting was created using a chalkboard charger to coordinate the chalkboard welcome sign with the table setting. I completed the decor with a metal charger, folded black napkins and rose gold flatware.
For the place card, I actually used some floral leaves and wrote the guest’s name on it in a nice font.
To give a unique twist to the menu presentation, I used mini clipboards and instead of adding paper to them, I wrote directly on the clipboard. This gives the menu an interesting industrial look that I like.
Wedding Shower Country Theme
For the beverage area, the teal color of the tool table is a great addition, bringing a pop of color to a rustic bridal shower and complementing the muted pinks and oranges perfectly. I served caramel apple cider (non-alcoholic) and an apple pie cocktail as drinks.
You can find many items at this drink station at Michaels, including the white wreath with pink flowers that I put together, you guys are so easy! A log sign, two small galvanized boxes on top of the shelf, a jar, a basket and a metal tray.
To give these drinks a chic fall feel, I rubbed cinnamon and sugar on the edges and attached a drink stirrer with cinnamon sticks and a sprig of rosemary for an organic, natural feel.
To create the dessert area, I used three bales of hay to create a staircase. I covered some of it with plaid and added another wooden sign that I hand painted that said “Dessert Bar”.

On the top tier of the dessert section, I placed the cakes, cupcakes, and mini pies on a cake stand.
The cake was our focal point, decorated with flowers and green macaroons. I love how the dessert bar logo looks on the wooden block.
The cupcakes are topped with sweet toppings made with rock candy. I printed tags that said “Sweet Moments” and cut out the shapes by hand.
I decorated the pecan pie plate with faux flowers that I used on the guest table.

The bottom layer of the dessert hay bales includes cinnamon crème fraîche (with an apple slice on top), morels and macarons.
When it came time to say goodbye to our wonderful guests, I knew I wanted to bring home a little gift to mark their visit. To keep up with the fall wedding theme, popcorn seems appropriate. A vintage scale metal flower stand is used to display artificial flowers for a popcorn party.
This time, a larger wooden sign was used with the words “Thanks for coming”. Popcorn is placed in small glass jars, covered with white burlap and wrapped with twine.
I hope you fell “in love” with this bridal shower and are inspired to create your own rustic celebration this fall. Be sure to visit www.MichaelsWeddings.com for more DIY’s for your next celebration.

Today I’m sharing all the details on a modern country bridal shower for this season for another precious bride.
Luckily I met this bride the day she was born. Her mother was my sorority sister at Baylor (we are Tri-Delta!) and I attended the same private Christian school as her father. There are so many connections between our families. Her parents’ wedding was the first wedding of a close friend I attended as a bridesmaid, so watching her on her own wedding tour was extra special! I was looking forward to sharing this special day with you.
As you may know from my last wedding event last week, I always check with the bride to know her wedding theme and colors so I can coordinate my features with her wedding plans. Claire incorporated natural rustic decor in light gray and white tones with lots of greenery at her wedding.

The color and style are perfect! I love using Minted because they provide printed envelope addresses for free!
My rustic dining table is the perfect backdrop for food, which is why I decided not to cover it with tablecloths. I used whitewashed crates as centerpieces so I could scatter flowers and trays all over the table.
Since I was hosting about 30 ladies, I opted for modern disposable plates and prepackaged plastic cutlery since I was hosting the party myself. Not only did it help with cleanup, but buying prepackaged meals saved me a lot of prep time.
The glass cylinder vases and floating candles add a nice modern touch that I can do in other serving areas and tables. Plus, they’re a very inexpensive option for adding style to your table setting.
How To Throw A Shabby Chic Meets Boho Bridal Shower Or Hen Party
The flower of this feature is easy to make. I just bought several lots of white hydrangeas from Trader Joe’s and Mixed Greens (a bridal favorite!). To keep things simple and textured, I made each arrangement a little different.
I was careful to make sure ferns were included in each arrangement to complement the invitation.
In addition to the floral arrangements, I added fresh, real succulents to bring the look up to date. You will see more in the other tables.
When we planned to shower, we decided 2:00 p.m. Starting time. Based on that time, I had to come up with a menu that wasn’t too heavy but could feed a mixed crowd. Knowing that deli is a favorite of the bride and her family, I thought it would be fun to serve everything deli. The key is to figure out how to mix and match and provide multiple options.
French Bridal Shower Ideas
This is a great way to cater to all ages! Everyone has something. This whole idea goes very well with Claire’s beautiful style.
The main thing to keep in mind when preparing multiple delicacies is to make sure that they all contain sweet and salty foods. Combine meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables for a well-balanced platter.
I used 12″ x 24″ marble floor tiles for these trays. yes I love using these because the finish is huge and there are no lips. To give a layering effect, I simply turn one of my square bowls upside down under it to raise it. The other two trays are lifted only slightly with the dessert plate.
For dessert tables, the goals are simplicity and variety. For the bundts, I chose flavors that fit the palette of the party. Same as the other desserts I serve.
Bridal Shower Theme: I Do Bbq
Apothecary jars are a great container for sweets or other desserts. For this party, meringues are a big hit. If you’re not ready to make them from scratch, Trader Joes are my favorite (source below)!
